• Yes, QuadMed Everywhere can be especially helpful if you are traveling. Due to state licensure restrictions for health care providers, your primary care provider may not be able to help you with new medical concerns when you are traveling out of your home state. QuadMed Everywhere doctors are licensed in all 50 states and can see patients from 8 am to 5 pm in any time zone, Monday through Friday.
• QuadMed Everywhere may also be of help if you are sick or have a time-sensitive need. Our QuadMed Everywhere doctors give patients additional access to same day visits if their primary care provider is not available.

QuadMed Everywhere doctors can prescribe non-controlled medications, such as antibiotics or high blood pressure pills. Controlled medications cannot be prescribed by QuadMed Everywhere doctors. This includes stimulant medications for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (Adderall/Vyvanse), benzodiazepines for anxiety (Xanax/Alprazolam), or certain medications for sleep or pain (Ambien/Opioids). Controlled medication prescriptions must be obtained from an in-person medical provider.

Depending on the severity of your symptoms, you may need an in-person appointment or evaluation in an Emergency Department.
