Reimbursing Yourself from Your Health Savings Account (HSA)
Charges at the Roadside Health Center can be reimbursed through your Health Savings Account through one of four simple options.
All non-preventive visits to the Roadside Health Center for associates, spouses, and dependents incur a charge of $26.50. Preventive care visits, including biometric screenings and annual physicals, flu shots, and lab work, are free. Charges incurred at the Roadside Health Center will be payroll deducted from the associate’s paycheck within 1 to 2 pay periods.
If you choose to reimburse yourself from your Health Savings Account (HSA), you can do so using one of the following methods:
Website – You can manage your HSA by logging into your Cigna account at mycigna.com. From the home screen, select Spending Accounts, then Health Savings Account from the drop down list. You can view your balance and recent transactions. You can manage your account by clicking “View all transactions and manage your HSA.” From here, you can select the option to reimburse yourself, selecting how to receive the money and the amount for reimbursement.
Online Transfer On HSA Bank’s Member Website, you can transfer funds from your HSA to an external bank account, such as a personal checking or savings account. If you have not already done so, you will need to set up a user ID and password to log in to the site.
Reimburse yourself via ATM You can use your HSA Bank Health Benefits Debit Card at an ATM to reimburse yourself for eligible expenses paid out-of-pocket (a transaction fee may apply). When withdrawing HSA funds from an ATM, be sure to select the “checking” option (not savings) when asked the type of account you are withdrawing from.
Checks If you ordered checks with your HSA, you can write a check from your HSA to yourself and deposit it into your external personal checking or savings account.
As a reminder, you can also choose to continue to let your money grow in your account. Funds will earn interest, and once you have over $1,000, you have the ability to invest your funds and earn money from the investments.
