I believe that treating each patient as an individual and being non-judgmental are keys to success. I respect the many day-to-day stresses that living with a chronic condition present; thus, I believe in a real-world approach to education. Teaching patients how best to manage their chronic conditions helps them gain confidence as they learn strategies to deal with the issues encountered on a daily basis.
